Create account in PCF

Objective:

Objective of this article is to help you to understood about how to create an account in PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry) and how to claim for free data in PCF. We no need to pay any amount to claim the free space and no need to register with any of Credit/Debit cards. Pivotal is providing such a beautiful option for development utilization. All together you need to do is? you have to verify with your mobile number to activate the account and claim free space.

Information:

We need to signup with Pivotal, for this we need only a valid email and mobile number. We no need to register with any of credit/debit cards and it never ask to enter such details for trial account registration, it’s completely free. Continue follow the steps associated to register an account with Pivotal Cloud Foundry.

Sign in to Pivotal account

The signup page look like,

Agree the Terms and Conditions of Pivotal Cloud Foundry and Click on Sign Up button. Then you will see a page like below with the message of Account Activation Link sent to your registered mail id.

Click on the link that you’ve got into your registered mail id. If you didn’t receive any confirmation mail in your inbox, you can select the option of Resend activation link. If you didn’t receive any confirmation mail, there might be some firewall issue which is stopping mails to get into your account. This will happen when your try to register with your company account. So, I would like to suggest you to use your personal mail id’s. If we try to login into Pivotal account without validating our account by clicking the link, we will get the below error.

You can login successfully, after validating your account by clicking on activation link which sent in mail. After email verification, login into your pivotal account.

You will see the previous screen with 4 options after login into Pivotal account. Please select the Pivotal Web Services for navigating into the Dashboard of Pivotal and we can claim our free trial along with 2GB of free space.

Signup Free Trial:

Agree the Terms and Conditions of Pivotal Web Services and Click on Next: Claim Your Trial button to process further.

Enter valid details in above fields and Clock on Send me my code button for getting the validation code. You may receive the below warning information, if you have entered already registered mobile number with other account. So, enter mobile number which is not registered with Pivotal free trial.

After validating with unique verification code, next step is to create your organization. Enter your organization name click on complete or OK button to complete your free trial registration. After completion of Organization creation, you will see the dashboard look a like,

As per the above dashboard, my registered organization name as Organization and total QUOTA which we can use is 2 GB and I have a space name called development with 0 Apps as of now.
